We are seeking talented actors for “Blood PR,” a darkly comedic, satirical horror short about a group of glamorous vampires launching a PR campaign to rebrand their bloody image in the modern world. This project blends gothic horror, biting humor, and social commentary into a stylish, cinematic experience.

 

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS

 

VELORA (Female, 20s-40s) Vampire leader. Dark-haired, pale-skinned, and impossibly elegant, she leads the cult with icy confidence. A mix of sophistication and menace. Must exude authority and danger.

 

MARYBETH STONE – Reporter (Female, 20s-40s) A small-town journalist determined to make a name for herself. Smart, resourceful, and driven by curiosity, she stumbles upon a secret vampire sisterhood and unexpectedly becomes their PR mastermind. Strong comedic timing with an edge of grit.

 

RANDY WELLERMAN (Male, 20s-40s) The head of a construction crew with a big personality and an even bigger ego. Randy is funny, flirtatious, and a little rough around the edges - definitely a character who hides his selfishness under a “good ol’ boy” charm. Comedic chops a plus.

 

DICK (Male, 20s-40s) One half of Randy’s sidekick duo. Dick is lovable but not the sharpest tool in the shed. Big personality, great with banter, and down for any bad idea Randy has.

 

ARTIE (Male 20s-40s) Artie completes the goon squad. He’s Randy’s drinking buddy and muscle when things go sideways. Funny, loud, and always looking for trouble.

 

SERAPHINE (Female, 20s) Red haired and striking. Seraphine is Velora’s enforcer and confidante. Smart, strategic, and even more brutal than her leader. Radiates danger and strength. The ultimate femme fatale.

 

CHERRY (Female, 20s-30s) The timid vampire. Cherry seems sweet and shy at first, but her timid exterior hides a vicious streak when pushed. The cult’s most innocent-looking member with a dark twist.

 

OPHELIA (Female, 20s-30s) The trickster vampire. Colored hair and otherworldly aura, Ophelia is the wild card of the group. Flirtatious, witty, and unpredictable, she loves games and taunting her prey. Must balance charm with danger.

 

ROXY (Female, 20s-30s) The pessimist vampire. Short-haired and sharp-tongued, Roxy despises humans and makes no secret of it. Dark, sarcastic, and simmering with anger—she’s the cult’s most reluctant PR candidate.

 

NINA (Female, 18-25) The new vampire. Blonde and reckless. The newest member of the sisterhood, Nina is eager to prove her worth - but her ambition and inexperience make her a liability. She’s impulsive, hungry, and dangerously naive.
